Day 8 : The CULTure as the real cult

Before we start, lets define the word cult :

[ C ] a religious group, often living together, whose beliefs are considered extreme or strange by many people:
Their son ran away from home and joined a religious cult.

the Hindu cult of Shiva
If you remove the religious aspect, a cult is nothing more than a system of beliefs. Here's the interesting part. Our society is based on belief systems, therefore our society could be define as cult. And when we take a serious look at what we are doing as a society, those beliefs system are extreme. The only reason it does not seems strange by many people, is because we are born in that belief system.

One way that's very effective to become aware of the cult of our society ( CULTure) is to go in another country where the CULTure is completely different. When I went to India, I was blown away to see that they was worshipping all those different gods. I was even more blown away when one of the guy there explain me that their god was physiologically different. He explain me that they was bigger than human being and that I could see the skull if I would go to a specific museum in that area. In my mind, their god was a myth, not being that has actually exist. The point is that it seems that those giant have a very specific plan for the people over there, because they was following a very limiting system of beliefs. To me that belief system was not making any sense. This was the point when I seriously start questioning the beliefs system in my own country.
What I realize is that our belief system was completely fucked
- Our education system was making us dumb
- Our health-care system was making us sick
- Our law system was making us more restraint
- Our food industry was making us sick as well
- Our money system was making us poor ( look at the inflation in the last 10 years)
-etc.
Why do we think that all of this is normal ?
Because we are born in it.
To clearly understand this concept, you must watch the allegory of the cavern

We accept thing as they are because we know nothing else. that's the main issue here. How can we initiate some change and create a world that is best for all, when people just want to stare at some fucking shadow on the wall. What do you got in your living room that you stare at for hours. A kind of fake images generators... it's call a t.v. !!!

That's the real cult. The society we are living in. The word cult is always use as a way to discredit anything that is outside what's currently accepted as normal. The problem is that what's currently accepted as normal is nothing less than an abomination.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that the culture is the real cult, since it's based on a system of beliefs created to enslave people

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to be afraid of things that was identify as cult by society, when in fact, the society itself is a cult that protect his own illusion by pointing out things that potentially threaten the belief system of the society itself that is based on the faith of the people that participate in that society.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that every beliefs is rooted in doubts and are not real, therefore, the goal is not to find the best belief system. The goal is to find the best system to get rid of my beliefs.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that what I perceive as normal can be in fact very detrimental for myself and other, therefore, I should always use " what is best for all" as a measure to see if what I am doing is the best thing to do.
