I was pondering about this concept.
What if every single thing that we have done in our life would be exposed
to every single person to the word?
What if every single thought we have would be exposed to everyone?
What if every single person in this world could have access to every
e-mail that you wrote, every text that you sent, every phone
conversation that you had?
How would you feel about that idea of being totally exposed.
Really think about that. Every single time you had a horrible thought about another person, she would know it.
We all have
"secret
" that we would like to stay
"secret
", and this is not without consequence.
Because to hide those secret that we are ashamed of
, we have to create a mask that will suppress our true self for the rest of our life.
This is completely fucked.
If we would live in a world that is best for all, we could support each other to overcome guilt, judgment, fear, shame etc.
Unfortunately in a world that is based on competition, everyone is afraid exposing
themselve because the
"enemies
" that could use that against you.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to hide felling/thought/emotion/past action from other
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to hide myself
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear being exposed
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to suppress myself because of shame
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to suppress myself because of guilt
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to
suppress myself because of fear of being rejected
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that when you have nothing to hide, you don't have any fear
I commit myself to be more open
I commit myself being more authentic
This is a cool point to explore. Just keep in mind that most you still have to fit into the world without freaking people out with your self-honesty, because most people are not ready for that type of authenticity, and of course we still have to earn a living and keep relationships as support within this world as it is at this time. So, from a practical perpective / practically speaking - there still needs to be some common sense with what one shares with others in regards to the real / actual consequential outflows that can come from sharing too much of self with others who are not ready and able to process such openness.
