For context listen to the audio 8 stage of the process (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su5FTMjG6jA&t=179s)
In this blog we will take a look of the stage of the self-justifier.
At this stage a person can start seeing that something wrong is going on in this world, but they justify their free will. The concept of a world that is best for all is still a threat for them because they are affraid losing their identity. They are still in a state of separation.
I have been there. I use to think that the problem of this world wasn’t mine. I use to think that the things was just the way it is. I started justifying my position in this world. I started thinking that it wasn’t really my fault if some people was dying in horrible conditions everyday. I think this way until I realize that I was in fact feeding the system that was allowing those things to happen. That realization move me to the next stage.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed to not realize that I can do something about all the injustice of this world
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to become a self-justifier
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear losing my identity by moving towards a world that is best for all
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that justifying my position was holding me back to create change in this world.
